Today was spent laying floor boards in the barn loft. As always, all lumber is homemade.

Beginning to remove the temporary ghetto siding and install real barn siding.

And the other end wall. Lots left to do, but it looks sooooo much better now.

Staining the end walls. Still lots of siding to put on, but I couldn't wait to stain the end walls -- they've been such an eyesore up till now.

The 24' extension ladder wouldn't reach, but a boost from Trusty Rusty made it work.

Hung loft doors.

Rear loft door. Not sure what it's for, but it's there if it's needed.

Removing ghetto siding from another section of wall.

Installed wind bracing, nailer, and skirt.

Boards. Lacks battens and stain yet.

Lots and lots left to do.

Siding complete.

Still have to make the main entrance door, and I'm out of materials, so it may not get done this year. Still needs lots of wind bracing on the inside, still needs a stair to the loft, and I need to build shelves, racks, etc., to get it organized, so it'll drag on for perhaps another year.

"Ship's Ladder" used to access the barn loft. It works quite well.
