I'm still amazed that the 350 grainers shoot in the slow twist.
A 444 Marlin loaded with 300 - 350 grain hard cast should be enough gun for anything in North America ??????? But that's just me.
I've been fooling with the new Ranch Dog 432-350GC test mold and it's been giving me some really really good groups in the slow twist Micro barrels pushed hard with H322 behind water quenched WW bullets .
You are right about the 300-350 being capable enough for NA . However I kinda like playing with cast in the 444 for some reason . Lord knows the nine 444's I shoot cast in handle what I have given them very well .
So I am still of the opinion that I would like Olle's design in a 400 grainer for my ballard rifled ones and a 375 grainer for trial in my Micro Groove rifles . And of course if my theory is incorrect I can alwasy shoot them in the ballard rifles .
