Overcast about 60 degrees, slight tail wind.
Measures (the best I can do) .91 OUTSIDE edges

MGySgt, is this the rifle that has the long, gentle throat?
Yes this is the one I just got back from the shop. Long throat and tapered into the lands (don't remember what he said the taper is, but it is for cast).
Started as a long chambered 45/70 is why it was rechambered to 45/90.
Best group I could do with IMR 4198 was slightly over 1.5 center to center, that was easy to measure.
The throat on this is tight .461 for a .460+ bullet, not much room between the bullet and the walls.
I never expected to get a group like this out of that oversize bore.
Note - I am not engraving the lands. It likes the little bit of jump.
