Well got outside about 10AM to start casting here at home rather then driving in to the shop to do it indoors !
Plus no bothersome people here as opposed to the shop

Ended up making 90 good ones before the first sprinkles of rain started !

Image

If I'm not mistaken they dropped at 315.5 grains and after they were lubesized and checked they weighed 324.5 grains !

Image

After that I loaded 3 of each of the following ,

H322 50 grains
H322 51 grains
IMR8209 51 grains
IMR8208 52 grains
XMR2015 51 grains
X<R2015 52 grains

It's supposed to be pretty nice here on sunday so I think I'm gonna try and hit the range at 8AM sunday and try all of these .

Well the Mountain Molds / Ranch Dog 432-325GC is a success !

I just returned from the range after trying the 6 loads I mentioned above in my circa 1966 "Retro 444P" with a Weaver K3 on top !

They all did well enough on paper for hunting and the sight in for my LBT 433-340GC bullet is the same as for all SIX of these .

While none of the 6 were sub MOA groups I never really expected that with a 3x scope .My best group was 1 1/2" with 52 grains of Accurate Arms 2015 . However 51 grains of H322 and 52 grains of IMR8208 were almost as good .

I shoot ALOT of loads with H322 and am starting to get several with IMR8208 as well . I just may go on with the AA 2015 since I only have one or two other loads I use that powder with !

1.5 MOA is pretty good for a lever gun.

Thanks for the feedback, 6pt-sika.

I shot an aggregate of 4 3 shot groups at 100 yards with another of my 444 rifles using a 5x scope and shooting the Saeco #433 (300 grain FP GC) that was a .979" !

I am quite sure with a little more scope magnification and a little more time I can get this bullet to shoot MOA out of some of my rifles .

You are more then welcome for the feedback !

Little more feedback on the Mountain Molds 432-325GC with the RD nose !

As mentioned the bullet shot well in my little circa 1966 Retro 444P . But a couple weeks ago I purchased a circa 1967 Marlin 336-44 . For the unknowing thats nothing more then a 44 MAG built on a Marlin 336 action . Anyway the MM/RD 432-325GC was doing nicely in the 336-44 with 20 grains of H-110 and a CCI300 primer !

Three shots from the 336-44 at 100 yards were measuring 1 1/2" center to center !
I will say I was getting an ever so slight bit of yaw when they hit the paper , so it's most likely right on the edge . Maybe after hunting season I;ll try the 432-325GC with 21 grains of H-110 .

I am sorry to have to say I never did get the MM 432-325GC blooded this season !

Even went to AR on a piggie hunt in late January and early February but no targets to try the bullet on !

This one will be first in line this coming August during the DCP hunting for deer and black bear .
