meplatt
meplatt
I am thinking of ordering a 325 gr 45 cal. tangential ogive bullet and am trying to decide between a 70% and 80% meplat. I know that the 70% meplat will have a better BC (if there is such a thing with revolver bullets) and the 80% meplat would probably be a better hunting bullet. I know there are thousands of variables, but would the smaller meplat normally be more accurate than the larger one and if so, would there be a noticable difference?

Re: meplatt
More often than not, a smaller meplat will be more accurate.
