I am thinking I might step it up a bit with this little Retro 444P rifle .
Before I chopped the barrel I killed three whitetails with it using the Castboolits group buy 434-207GC bullet and it shot very nicely with that bullet .
Then after I chopped the barrel I used the LBT 433-340GC bullet and pole axed that little bear .
And of course I used the bullet from this thread for a pair in the 2012/13 season .
I am thinking perhaps this would be a good gun for a bullet of 360-365 grains .
I have a couple in the 350 range and several in the 375 range .
So why not split the difference !
This artcile has kinda had me intrested in a 360-365 grain offering for awhile .http://leverguns.com/articles/anderson/444Outfitter.htm
And yes I know "there is no need" for a bullet that weight . Well atleast not for what I hunt , but then you could say that about 5 370-375 grain molds and 5 390-425 I just happen to have in my possesion at the moment !
